Prayer Of Jabez - Bless Me and Enlarge my Territory

GOD   WANTS  US TO ASK  BIG  THINGS

1 Chronicles 4:10 speaks of a man named Jabez. Though he was born into sorrow, he was considered to be an honorable man (v. 9). Jabez prayed a powerful and big prayer to God: "…Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain…" 

The prayer of Jabez in 1 Chronicles 4:10 is a plea for God to be with him. This prayer was not just a prayer to get something from God; his prayer was evidence of his deep relationship with God. 


The boldness that Jabez demonstrated in 1 Chronicles 4:10 is a good example for us to follow, Proverbs 28:1 says, "…the righteous are as bold as a lion." Jabez knew what he wanted and prayed accordingly. Following his prayer, the verse says, "And God granted his request." 

Another example of a man that prayed boldly before the Lord God is Abraham. In Genesis 18; God tells Abraham that He is going to destroy the city of Sodom because of their sin. Boldly, Abraham asks God not to destroy the city. Genesis 18:22 says, "The men turned away and went toward Sodom, but Abraham remained standing before the LORD. Then Abraham approached him and said: 'Will you sweep away the righteous with the wicked?'" 

False Doctrine: FUTURE SINS Automatically Forgiven

There is a danger to this doctrine. I saw some people commenting in someone else posts. Oh, I can divorce my spouse, anyway God has forgiven me for what I am going to do. No matter what you do as a child of God, you are forgiven.  Murder, Stealing, Adultery? Forgiven.  IT's the PAST SINS prior accepting Christ are FORGIVEN, and NOT the FUTURE SINS. I cite verses at the very bottom proving PAST SINS are forgiven, and NOT future sins. FOR FUTURE SINS, a sincerely repentant Christian MUST CONFESS each and every sin he commits for God to forgive, cleanse, and justify Him again...The PROMISE of ETERNAL SECURITY or Once saved Always Save applies only for the ELECT for SERVICE, and NOT for all CHRISTIANS. For example of Elect for service were the 12 apostles, and some disciples in the early churches who were called according to the purposes of God during those times. They were PREDESTINED for SERVICE even before the foundation of the world. You will see the "ELECT" mentioned  in the FIRST CHAPTER of some books in New Testament. It does NOT mean when the bible addressed some disciples, it is already applying to us.. Not everyone called as Moses, Joshua, Jesus, Abraham, etc...I know so cos long time ago, I sought the Lord for one month, asking Him why some parts of NT shows believers are guaranteed salvation, and some parts shows we can lose our salvation, and He revealed to me those verses guaranteeing salvation are only for the Elect for Service, and NOT for all Christians. That is why they are called "ELECT" cause they are few. If in doubt, you can inquire of the Lord of whether what i am saying is true or not. This is where Satan tricked the whole Christendom, applying those verses meant for the elect, to all Christians. JUSTIFICATION is only for the ELECT for service. Now God gave the the Holy Spirit to give us new desires for Him, His word and for Holiness, for Serving, Guiding us to Spiritual Truths, Convicting us, BUT it is still all up to us whether we will yield to the FLESH, or His Spirit.  Although God makes us New Creation, Our Carnal Nature is still strong, that is why we are told to BATTLE the sinful nature. That is why the bible said that we need to RESIST the DEVIL so He could Flee. 

Iglesia Ni Cristo's OUTSIDE Of this Religion, There is NO Salvation - False Doctrine

According to my research, this religion only started in 1917 but Jesus started His church 2000 years ago. So what happened to those churches and religions built before 1917 which were not branded or named "Iglesia Ni Cristo", don't they have salvation..... Just because certain people decided to call a religion "Iglesia ni Cristo" does NOT really mean they are the ONLY religion of Christ. I can start a religious institution now, and call it "IGLESIA ni CRISTO", and i can tell my members that outside this religion, there is no salvation.... Analogy of this is a TOOTHPASTE, there is COLGATE, CLOSE-UP, AIM, etc. They have slight variation of flavors but in reality they are all TOOTHPASTE.. Just like in CHRISTIAN RELIGIONS. There are Catholics, Protestants, 7th day Adventists. They have slight variations in doctrines, but they are all CHRIST FOLLOWERS. Each of them criticizing each others. All of them teach they are the TRUE CHURCH of Christ, and the TRUE PATH. I think they teach this to KEEP THEIR MEMBERS, and so that they do not leave... It's also BUSINESS you know... Because if their members leave, it will be REDUCTION of their INCOME...RELIGIOUS INSTITUTIONS DID NOT DIE on the CROSS to save your SOUL from HELL. It is JESUS, and OBEYING His Bible will save your soul from Hell, and not your religion....Yes you are IGLESIA NI CRISTO MEMBER, but if you living a life contrary what the bible instructs you, then you are heading into Hell unless you repent... I GUARANTEE you that...

JESUS is the ONLY MEDIATOR between God & Men

If the BIBLE says, there is ONLY ONE MEDIATOR who is JESUS CHRIST, then you are ADDING MORE MEDIATORS, then it is already MEN, or RELIGIOUS INSTITUTIONS giving interpretation to the scriptures, and that doctrine did not come from God... I read the whole bible, and i never saw any of the apostles, or anyone praying or vowing to VIRGIN MARY, or SAINTS, or a SCULPTURE. Jesus & His Apostles  taught us how to pray, and nothing was mentioned praying to Mary, or anyone else as their mediator. Jesus and the Apostles prayed to the Father. After Jesus resurrected, the Apostles, and disciples, gave us an example, and instructed us to use :"IN JESUS NAME" when we pray. They prayed to the FATHER, & JESUS only.. If you insist a doctrine, and verses in the bible refuting it, then that leads to a DANGER....Anyone who has an agenda, can use scriptures, and make a doctrine out of it, Just because some people says that they are the first Christian Church, you will already believe it..People lie especially if they have agenda. For example agenda of CONTROL, MONEY, POWER, POSITION, etc...The BIBLE is the  word of God. It came directly from God, Jesus, 12 Apostles, and disciples of the early church, and passed down generation from generation. Some says, the bible had been corrupted, but God is still in control. He would not let HIS ONLY BIBLE(the only guide to men's salvation) to be corrupted so as to send people into hell... That is why he died to give His message for salvation of mankind. Without His divine revelation, men won't have not known the mystery of His kingdom, His Will, His Salvation for all people who would repent and believe Him... Jesus died for you. Jesus is the ONLY one who can save your soul from hell. Your religious institutions did NOT die for you. They compose of mere Human beings that are flawed, and can mistakes in giving their interpretations of the Scriptures. If in doubt, seek the Holy spirit in prayer, continually pray through, and ask God to reveal you the  right answers. You must wait until He answers.
