There is a danger to this doctrine. I saw some people commenting in someone else posts. Oh, I can divorce my spouse, anyway God has forgiven me for what I am going to do. No matter what you do as a child of God, you are forgiven. Murder, Stealing, Adultery? Forgiven. IT's the PAST SINS prior accepting Christ are FORGIVEN, and NOT the FUTURE SINS. I cite verses at the very bottom proving PAST SINS are forgiven, and NOT future sins. FOR FUTURE SINS, a sincerely repentant Christian MUST CONFESS each and every sin he commits for God to forgive, cleanse, and justify Him again...The PROMISE of ETERNAL SECURITY or Once saved Always Save applies only for the ELECT for SERVICE, and NOT for all CHRISTIANS. For example of Elect for service were the 12 apostles, and some disciples in the early churches who were called according to the purposes of God during those times. They were PREDESTINED for SERVICE even before the foundation of the world. You will see the "ELECT" mentioned in the FIRST CHAPTER of some books in New Testament. It does NOT mean when the bible addressed some disciples, it is already applying to us.. Not everyone called as Moses, Joshua, Jesus, Abraham, etc...I know so cos long time ago, I sought the Lord for one month, asking Him why some parts of NT shows believers are guaranteed salvation, and some parts shows we can lose our salvation, and He revealed to me those verses guaranteeing salvation are only for the Elect for Service, and NOT for all Christians. That is why they are called "ELECT" cause they are few. If in doubt, you can inquire of the Lord of whether what i am saying is true or not. This is where Satan tricked the whole Christendom, applying those verses meant for the elect, to all Christians. JUSTIFICATION is only for the ELECT for service. Now God gave the the Holy Spirit to give us new desires for Him, His word and for Holiness, for Serving, Guiding us to Spiritual Truths, Convicting us, BUT it is still all up to us whether we will yield to the FLESH, or His Spirit. Although God makes us New Creation, Our Carnal Nature is still strong, that is why we are told to BATTLE the sinful nature. That is why the bible said that we need to RESIST the DEVIL so He could Flee.
God did NOT die for FUTURE SINS(future breaking of the law).
That is why before we accept Christ & given the Holy Spirit, we are told to REPENT, and Believe Christ, and God expects us to stay that way for the rest of our lives. How can God forgive future sins when He knows later we can UNDO our REPENTANCE & denounce Him.
God forgives our sins before we commit them. That is not taught anywhere in the Bible, and when the Lord says that He forgives us and remembers our sins no more, He’s speaking of the sins we have committed at the time He forgives us.
What sins did God forgive when we asked Him to save us and cleanse us? He forgave our past sins, our former sins, the sins we committed before we were born-again. As explained in Colossians 2, when we put our faith in Jesus and became children of God, He cancelled “the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross”
Under God’s holy law, we accumulated a massive amount of spiritual debt, with each new sin we committed adding to that debt. And it was a debt we could never repay, especially since the standards of God’s law continually reminded us of our failures and shortcomings. But the moment God saved us, He forgave us that debt – and then He brought us into a new and better covenant, one in which His laws are written on our hearts and He remembers our sins no more (Jeremiah 31:31-34). So, when we look to the Lord for salvation, He forgives every sin we have committed up to that point and He even forgives us for who we are: lost, rebellious sinners. But He does not forgive us for our sins before we commit them. This is clearly stated in many passages and it makes perfect spiritual sense as well.
When you put your trust in Jesus as your Savior and Lord and you asked Him to forgive you for all your sins, what sins did you mean? Perhaps you said something like, “God, I confess to you that I am a sinner and have done many wrongs things in my life, and I ask you to forgive me and wash me clean.”
Someone said something similar to the Lord, and He met me right where I was as a heroin-shooting, LSD-using, rebellious, hippie rock drummer. I was clean and forgiven and washed at that very moment. Totally! And all the guilt I had been feeling in previous weeks as the Holy Spirit was convicting me of my sins was totally gone as well. What amazing grace!
But it didn’t dawn on me to say, “And Lord, while we’re at it, could you please forgive me for all the sins I plan to commit tomorrow and for the rest of my life, along with the sins I don’t plan to commit?”
I bet it didn’t dawn on you to say that either. Why? It is because we understand that FORGIVENESS is for WHAT WE HAVE DONE, and NOT for what we will do.
In the same way, if I sinned against my friend and let him down, I would go to him and say, “Please forgive me for being irresponsible and causing you pain. I was wrong and I make no excuses.” But I wouldn’t say to him, “And since I’m confessing and you’re forgiving, I ask you to forgive me in advance for every sin I will ever commit against you in the future as well.” Of course not!
Not at all, even though He inhabits eternity (Isaiah 57:15) and knows the beginning from the end (Isaiah 46:8-10). But when it comes to forgiveness, He only forgives people for what they have done, not what they will do. Consequently, there is not a single verse in the Bible where God forgives a person’s sins before they commit those sins. Not one.
To repeat: Jesus paid for all our sins when He hung on the cross, which means that for all of us living after the cross, He paid for our sins before we were ever born. But He does not forgive our sins until we come to Him asking for mercy, and when He forgives us, He forgives what we have done.
Forgiveness covers whatever “debt” we have incurred, which is why Jesus taught us to pray, “Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors” (Matt 6:12) in the Lord’s prayer. (Remember: the Sermon on the Mount is for disciples – for followers of Jesus – according to Matt 5:1.)
Look at every single prayer for forgiveness recorded in the Bible, and you will see that people (and nations) only ask for forgiveness for what they have done, not what they will do. Then look at every single time that God pronounces a person or nation forgiven in the Bible and you will see that, without exception, it is for sins that person or nation have already committed, not for future sins.
And in Jam. 5:15, speaking of the sick believer receiving prayer for healing, in the event this person’s sickness was due to their sin, it is written “If they have sinned, they will be forgiven” (not, “they are already forgiven”).
On a practical level, it is very important to understand clearly that God does not forgive our sins before we commit them, since this false teaching opens the door to all kinds of deception and danger. You see, if I really believe that my future sins are already forgiven, in a time of weakness or temptation I might think to myself, “It no big deal if I do that, since I’m already forgiven and therefore nothing could change my relationship with God, no matter what I do.” I think you can see how dangerous that could be.

ANALOGY: If you BREAK a TRAFFIC LAW(eg. running red light), then in the day of court hearing, it happened that the JUDGE(Jesus) is your friend. So because He is your friend, He DISMISSED your VIOLATIONS(sins) WITHOUT CONDITIONS, WORKS, etc(forgiveness); then He CLEARED & SET YOUR RECORD STRAIGHT & gave your RIGHT STANDING(salvation). Does that mean you can go out there,, keep breaking the traffic law(law)? Does that mean you can go there RUNNING the RED LIGHT? Of course NOT. So God forgiven your violations(SINS), Grant you GOOD STANDING(salvation, without works(paying fines, jail time) BUT it does NOT mean you can keep breaking His Laws. You MAINTAIN your GOOD STANDING by CONTINUING to obey HIS LAWS.... All the laws are still valid except in the NEW COVENANT or testament, the METHOD of ATONEMENT have changed. Instead of KILLING, and Offering the blood of animals for our sins(just like in the Old TEstament), Jesus took that place already once and for all for those WHO WILL REPENT, continue to repent, and BELIEVE and continue to believe Him....Now when we believed Jesus and we repented of our sins, He gave us the HOLY SPIRIT to empower to obey His Laws. The only laws that were abolished was the method of atonement, and anything that requires blood for atonement of humans eg. Stoning of Adulteress, and Rebellious children, etceteras, but everything else remain....We were UNDER the CURSE because of the IMPERFECTION of our NATURE to keep the commandments of God, but that changed when we received His Holy Spirit, but it is our RESPONSIBILITY to FLOOD the GATES of HEAVEN with our Prayers and even with fasting to be delivered from our sin areas...Without the Holy Spirit we are wretched, but with the Holy Spirit we can do all things thru Christ who strengthen us. We will still sin, that is why God provided us CONFESSION of sins for future sins to be forgiven, cleansed, and justified again.

WHY DO YOU THINK JESUS SAID, GO & SIN NO MORE
if future sins are automatically forgiven??
if future sins are automatically forgiven??
Jesus is trying to tell to Mary Magdalene. I have forgiven your past sins,
and do your best not to sin anymore. John 8:11 She said, No man,
Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: GO & SIN NO MORE.

St. Paul just finished by the deeds of the law, NO ONE will be justified, His conclusion in the same chapter is WE ESTABLISH THE LAW. Because it is only the PAST SINS(past breaking of the law) are forgiven.

OLD/NEW TESTAMENT LAWS
are still valid except for the laws of method of atonement.
Romans 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

WHY WOULD GOD WARNED THOSE WHO DON’T BELIEVE HIM? These are for believers….
MATTHEW 18:9 And if thine EYE offend thee, PLUCK IT OUT, and cast it from thee:

two eyes to be cast into HELL FIRE.
it is BETTER for thee to ENTER INTO LIFE WITH ONE EYE, rather than having

WHY WOULD an unbeliever have spiritual mind? This is for believers.
ROMANS 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

ADDRESS TO CHRISTIANS
EPHESIANS 5:1 Be ye therefore FOLLOWERS of God, as DEAR CHILDREN; 2 And walk in love,
as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a
sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savour. 3 But fornication, and all uncleanness,
or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient:
but rather giving of thanks. 5 For this ye know, that NO whoremonger,
NOR unclean person, NOR covetous man, who is an idolater,
HATH ANY INHERITANCE in the KINGDOM of CHRIST and of GOD.
